| The National White Collar Crime Center research shows that three-quarters of all employees have stolen from their employers at least once and some do so regularly. Source An overwhelming 79 percent of workers admit they have or would consider stealing from their employers, according to a survey by forensic accounting firm Michael G. Kessler & Associates. Source Losses caused by executives were 16 times those of their employees. Source The latest National Retail Security Survey reports that losses from employee theft have reached record levels and that total inventory shrinkage cost U.S. retailers $32.3 billion last year, up from $29 billion the year before. Source An average family of four will spend more than $440 this year in higher prices because of inventory theft.
