| Teachers Embrace New Teaching Methods |

| The CEO of Applied Scholastics® International traveled to the South and met with the superintendent of a rural school district, as education in the area needed to be improved. She returned with two professors and delivered an introductory lecture to 75 teachers. Ninety-seven percent voted to implement L. Ron Hubbard's Study Technology® in their classrooms. |

| The 75 teachers received a two-day Study Technology® workshop concentrating on the primary barriers to study and how to overcome them. Then a team of 29 Applied Scholastics® International staff and volunteers spent two weeks delivering Study Technology to more than 800 children from the 4th to 12th grades. |

| As a high school student wrote, “During the last two weeks I have learned some amazing things. The things that I have learned have already begun to help me. Just yesterday I took a test and I didn't understand a word and I looked it up.... I would recommend that all students in the United States have “Study Skills for Life®.” Older students even started helping the younger ones learn Study Technology®, and none wanted to see the instruction end. One group of children even wrote a rap song about Study Technology® and performed it for all the teachers on the last day of delivery. But the best result is that the children were happier and much more interested in their studies. I learned what to do when certain barriers are around and how to handle situations more clearly,” wrote another student. “I believe this course can help me to learn quicker and retain more of the information in the long run. I know that his lesson will help better myself as an all-out scholar.” |
